Covered outside area

A motorhome can be used for a variety of purposes. It can attend product launches, promote a service or community project.

The concept came from using the van to work from - remotely on short term community development and health projects I was assigned to.

It became immediately obvious that where office / meeting space was limited the van could resolve this.  Not only this but services can be brought to clients, whether this be employment advice, health advice or a 1-2-1 consultation space.

Equipped with a PA system and office desk meant the van could be taken to events to provide public address announcements, marshal events and provide a covered space.

Through FunMeFit the van can be promoted locally and aligned with particular projects to relay social media posts and tweets.

It has been used for a walking project in Leeds, publicity stunt in Wakefield to launch a Big Lottery funded community bus service and attendance at numerous event stalls.

With FunMeFit's contacts in sport we can also provide additional services to raise the profile of events. For example we organised Yorkshire's strongest man to pull a bus and sign autographs to help engage the community.

FunMeFIt also manage FMFTV - a free subscription youtube channel that interviews and showcases sports, health and community projects. Sometimes we use the van to film on location and interview in the lounge space. Vew our youtube channel here:

We have covered the Wheelchair Dance Sports Association event at the English Institute of Sport, filmed on behalf of the Move More GP Board Sheffield, and Yorkshire's strongest man contest 2014, as well as providing an MC on the day.
